Pulpdent Periocare Periodontal Dressing

A highly elastic periodontal dressing that sets resiliently hard and does not chip or fall apart in the mouth.

After mixing, PerioCare is ready to pick up with wet fingers in 45-60 seconds.

It has a working time of 4-5 minutes and sets in 15 minutes.

180mL (90mL tube Part 1 paste + 90mL tube Part 2 gel), mixing pad

1. Extrude equal amounts of paste (tube 1) and gel (tube 2) onto mixing pad.

2. Mix paste and gel together, using spatula, until color becomes uniform throughout. Thorough blending usually takes about 20 seconds.

3. Form PerioCare mixture into log shape on mixing pad, using spatula.

4. Test for tackiness with spatula or water-moistened finger. PerioCare is ready to use with moistened fingers in about 45-60 seconds. (you may notice that PerioCare is exothermic during this period.)

5. Mold PerioCare into desired shape using fingers. PerioCare will remain workable for approximately 4-5 minutes. If additional working time is required, place PerioCare in hot water to soften.

6. Clean spatula and instruments immediately by wiping clean. Instruments can also be cleaned with an orange solvent such as Wonder Orange™ or with alcohol.
