– The WHO Probe is a periodontal probe furnished with a ball tip out of surgical-grade Stainless Steel and with an easy-to-read, resistant, non-fading,
dark scale to determine the Periodontal Screening Index (PSI).

– In addition to the visual diagnosis, the use of a ball-tipped periodontal probe allows a metrical registration as well as the early detection of the severity of a periodontal disease.

– The WHO Probe enables the dentist on the one hand to determine the necessity of additional diagnostics and, on the other hand, to select the according prophylaxis and therapy measures.
